Checking in from Ohio

The drive was an adventure.  We made it in four days with only a couple of minor mishaps with the truck.  The boys behaved great, especially Keyan, who I was the most worried about.  The only thing was every night after a day of sitting in the car, the boys were bouncing off of the walls, floors, beds, etc of the hotel room!  I don’t blame them, but it was still a challenge!  Russell starts work tomorrow and school on Wednesday.  Everyone we have met here so far are very nice!

More later!

    Hi Sweetie,

I bet you’re having fun with Granny! Your house is beautiful and I hope you can get everything in a place that works for you. I’m so glad Mom is there to help you. Nair and I are on the phone every day trying to get her surprise party together. We’ll see you in 3 weeks. I hope you find some wonderful new friends right away. It has all happened and now it’s just finding your way around town and finding your place in Powell. All of us will try to keep in touch so that you don’t feel so isolated from family. Believe me, the 7 years will go by so quickly! I can say that because I look back to so many times when I thought it would never end. Give hugs and kisses to the boys for me. Oh- did the car trays work out? I’m curious if I should buy some for the girls.

    See you soon!

    Love, Mom
