Our sweet and very fun Keyan

We have so been enjoying Keyan as of late.  Eight months is such a fun age!  Although I bet I could say that at just about any age.  He smiles at anyone whether he knows them or not.  People at church tell me how squeezable he is and how they love his cheeks.  It’s true, he is very squeezable.  He is not very big, in fact, he is still only in the fifth percentile for his weight.  But he is very solid and fun to hold!!  He has become quite the chatterbox and today started copying sounds the boys make.  So I thought I’d show a few pictures of him…

Enjoying a chocolate dipped pretzel we made for Russell’s school birthday treat.  (Aren’t those pudgy fingers so cute?)

You can tell when he’s really asleep, because he tucks his hands behind his back.  I don’t know if that’s more comfortable or if he’s learned that they stay really warm there…

Playing on the floor with the family

Really, all you have to do is talk to him, and you get this.  He is so friendly!

This one is not just Keyan, but I thought it was still cute. The boys love “helping” dad cook. Here they are making Sunday dinner.  They all had to get their aprons on.  You can see part of our kitchen makeover here.  No more blue cupboards or yellow walls!

Jackie, I know that my memories of you being young are from that of an even younger perspective, but every time I see a picture of Keyan it reminds me of what you looked like to me when we were little, from my little girl eyes. I guess mom will have to weigh in on this one. He is so adorable I can’t wait to meet him. Miss you.

SOOO cute! I just love how cute your kids are! WIth all that blonde hair! It’s just adorable! You are such a cute mom! I’m sad I didn’t make more of an effort to see you while you lived in Utah! All our boys would’ve had fun terrorizing everything together!
