Blurb.com

Hey fellow bloggers,

I was so excited to discover this website through a friend from my ward.  It is Blurb.com.  You go to the website, download the FREE program.  As soon as you download it, it will import all of your blog posts/pictures.  You can then format them however you like and then order them in a book form.  Isn’t this cool?  You can import them as you go and order it as soon as you have however many posts you want in the book.  In my case, I will probably order one for each child at the end of every year so they will each be able to have one.  Abby, this might answer your question about backing up your posts because as soon as you import your posts, they will be saved on your computer.  This program doesn’t do only blog books, you can also do photo books, cookbooks, journals, and others.  I was so excited that my friend shared this, so I thought I’d pass it along!

After you download the program, you create a new book. Then it will have you choose the title of the book and the size you would like. Then you choose what kind of book (blog to book). Then it will let you choose which blogging service you use (wordpress, blogger, etc.), and it will have you log in. Then it should import the posts. Hopefully this helps, Katie!

I have a friend who did a Blurb book and it turned out FANTASTIC! She put her blog in it for one year and it was around $90 but it was pretty awesome!
