The birthday boy

Poor Keyan was sick on his birthday, but he still managed to be happy and cheerful, which is more that I can say about myself when I am sick.  He got to spend part of his big day being daddy’s little helper while dad did lawn work.  He got to borrow daddy’s ear muffs (is that what they’re called?) to protect his little ears.

Later we had a little family party.  Keyan was so lucky to have some super heroes at his party!  He loved his cake and couldn’t get enough, though he wasn’t as enthusiastic about the little “bath” he had in the kitchen sink afterwards.  He loved opening his presents and was thrilled with his new walker/ride-on toy.  He tries to push it and walk with it, but it goes to fast for him and he ends up on his knees.  It is still pretty fast for him, and it is so funny to watch him “walk” as fast as he can on his knees to keep up with it.  He was even a sport and wore the party hat that Russell and Trey kept trying to put on him.  It was a fun day, and we are so blessed to have Keyan in our family!

Jackie… what great pictures. I especially love the one of the superheros because it seems like yesterday that that was Kaden and Mason in them. I can only imagine the fun you have with those superheros… can’t wait to see you guys!

    Jackie,

Your four guys are so cute! Thanks for taking the time to help us keep up with what is happening in your family. It is the next best thing to being there.
    Love, Dad

How adorable!! I can’t believe that he is already 1. I still think of him as the little baby that you had when you moved here. I especially love the picture of him mowing the lawn with Russell.
