Catch Up

Okay, all you whiners out there (you know who you are), I’m finally putting up another post!  I’ll just catch you up on our recent happenings.  We just got back from Idaho/Washington where we attended my youngest sister’s wedding.  It was awesome seeing all of my siblings and their cute families.  It was a very tiring trip, but TOTALLY worth it.   My fault because I stayed up way too late, and Trey’s fault because he woke up at 5:30 almost every morning we were there. We had a bridal shower, endowment session at the temple, the wedding/sealing, trips to the park, a Spokane Shock football game (arena football), cousins’ baseball games, and a lot of fun down time together.  It was great!  Also included below are pictures from Keyan’s first parade.  Russell had to be in the Memorial Day parade to promote the 5K race he was helping to plan, so of course Keyan went along.  He slept through most of it, but was great the whole time.  (Sorry, I know this is a lot of pictures!!!)

The boys waiting for the parade to begin.

Dad and Keyan in the parade.

During one of our layovers.

They fell asleep ten minutes before our last flight (of three) landed.  Waking them up was quite the job!

Russell and Trey with their cousin, Tori.  We stayed at her house (my sister, Candy’s house).

Russell and his cousin, Lose.  These two have always loved to play (meaning wrestle) together.  It was like they hadn’t been apart for almost a year!

Getting ready to wrestle (at their cousin Kaden’s baseball game).

Pausing for a picture moment.

Trey with Aunt Ginny at the Shock game.

The reason we got to go:  Liz and Albert

All the grandkids, minus Keyan and two who are on the way. (That’s 21, if you didn’t want to try to count.)

My wonderful parents.

Isn’t this cake awesome?

They arrived at and left the reception on Albert’s Harley.  Liz is now a Harley girl!

Wow…I’m trying to catch up on all the blogs…so, how do I put in one comment section so many thoughts. I really enjoyed your reflections on yourself. And, with your writing skills, why don’t you try a children’s book or two from Russell’s stories…?? Weren’t Lose’s comments fun??!! You can’t imagine now, but someday you’ll understand, how wonderful it is to watch your child become such a great caretaker of their next generation…way to go, Leggs, you’re nailin’ it! Love, mom
